Had a lovely stay with splendid breakfast. The staff, especially Veronique, were a delight! Free parking was a treat too—like finding a forgotten cupcake.
But where's the TV? I felt like I was in a cozy cabin, but without any Netflix comfort.

What a lovely spot for a romantic getaway! The gardens were lush, and we enjoyed our beach time with access to Adventure Outpost that had bicycles, bodyboards, and beach games. The breakfast was amazing, and we loved relaxing by the pool area.
My wife says that the loud street noise from our room was a bit much. It would be great if families with kids had more suitable room options.

The property's décor screams California cool with a blend of vintage and modern styles, making it an attractive spot for relaxation. The pool area provides a great place to unwind, and the access to nearby beaches for a refreshing swim is a real bonus.
The King Room I stayed in fell short. it had limited space and required navigating stairs with my luggage, which wasn't ideal. The lighting in the room left much to be desired, making it difficult to see clearly at night, and the fan only had one speed, which was super-fast—talk about annoying. Additionally, the two small windows faced an alley and a busy highway, contributing to noise that disrupted the serenity I expected. The bathroom, while having a massive sink, lacked counter space for personal items. Also, be prepared for a hefty 22% gratuity auto-added to your breakfast bill, which felt a bit excessive. Just a heads-up to manage expectations.

The pool area offers a serene escape with cozy lounges and stunning ocean views, perfect for relaxing. The common spaces are inviting, featuring vinyl record players in the room and a warm atmosphere that encourages mingling with fellow guests.
However, the heater in the room struggled to keep up, which made for some chilly nights. The pool wasn't heated as promised, which felt like a letdown considering it was a key reason for our selection. Moreover, minor inconveniences like a lack of clear communication regarding morning coffee preferences and what seemed to be inadequate heating options in communal areas added frustration to an otherwise enjoyable stay.

The unique blend of chic design and intimate atmosphere creates a welcoming vibe that feels like stepping into a cozy beach house. A rooftop space and an inviting pool area offer relaxation with a stylish touch, ensuring a tranquil retreat that stands out.
Room noise from the street can be a distraction, significantly affecting comfort, especially for those in rooms facing the busy thoroughfare. Some amenities felt overpriced, notably drinks at the bar, which might deter guests from indulging more frequently. The breakfast, while complimentary, carried unexpected charges for tips and taxes, which felt a bit like being nickeled and dimed for a supposedly high-end experience. Plus, miscommunication regarding room specifics made expectations around offerings seem inflated, particularly concerning promised views that didn't match reality.
